Clean when monitor is off.

Use a lint-free cloth to dry dust monitor’s screen.

Clean the outside of the CRT monitor with denatured alcohol (99% isopropyl alcohol).

Check connections and brightness / contrast settings when finished.

Disconnect the keyboard first.

Use denatured alcohol and a foam eye shadow applicator or swab to clean the keyboard. The applicator / swab will allow you to clean between the keys.

Use a can of compressed air to blow dust out of the keyboard.
|

If liquid is spilled on the keyboard, disconnect it and turn it over to drain as much out of it as possible. Towel dry the keyboard and let it finish air drying.

Take the back off your mouse and clean the ball and rollers.

Wipe off the back of an I/R mice.

Wipe the mouse pad with a lint free towel.

Disconnect all peripherals from the system unit and unplug the power unit.

Wipe the outside of the box.
|

Open the box and carefully use a can of compressed air to blow the dust out of it. If it’s really full of dust, carefully use the hose of a vacuum cleaner to vacuum it out.
