The South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (DDSN) has contracted with the Sumter County Disabilities and Special Needs Board (SCDSNB) to provide services to individuals with disabilities and special needs. SCDSNB is dedicated to providing safe, affordable housing to the individuals we serve.
Three residential programs operated by SCDSNB are the Supervised Living Program, the Community Training Home I Program, and the Community Training Home II Program. Residential programs are open to individuals over the age of 18 who are eligible for DDSN services. Residents are assessed by a team of professionals who assure appropriate placement.
