Rice Krispies Marshmellow Treats

1/4 cup butter
5 cup rice krispy's cereal
10 oz marshmellows; 4c minatures
1/4 cup peanut butter; optional
Melt butter in large pan over low heat. Add marshmellows and cook, stirring constantly until melted and very syrupy. Add optional peanut butter now, melt. Remove from heat. Add cereal, stir until well coated. With buttered spatula or wax paper, press mixture evenly and firmly into buttered 13x9x2 baking dish. Cool and cut into squares. Note: 4C cereal to 6oz marshmellows, 5C to 10oz.
