Savory Pot Roast (Crock)

2 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 cup water
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoon wine vinegar
2 tablespoon molassses
1 each onion; smalled diced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 each chuck roast; 2-4lbs
3 tablespoon cornstarch

Toast sesame seeds in a pan over low heat until golden brown. Combine seeds with water, soy sauce, molasses, vinegar, onion, garlic and cayenne. Trim fat from beef and place in ziplock or glass dish and cover with the marinade; cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove from marinade, pat dry, brown in skillet; place in crock pot and pour marinade over. Cook on low 10hrs, or high 6hrs. Combine 1/4c water & the cornstarch; stir into slow cooker until well blended. Cover and simmer 1 hr on high. Carve meat and serve with gravy. (a fresh picnic shoulder works well too)
