Chicken Stew, Hunters (Red)

3 each potatoes; med cubed
6 cup water
16 oz tomatoes; can stewed
4 each chicken; pieces
1 single salt & pepper; to taste
2 each onions; med diced
1/2 cup oil
14 oz catsup; bottle
3 teaspoon tobasco

Saute onions in oil. Add potatoes and water; cook until potatoes are done (30 min for small cubes). Add tomatoes, catsup, tobasco, and chicken. Simmer 30 min; cut chicken from bone and return to pot. Simmer 15min more. (opt: substitute salmon for chicken. Omit last 15 min simmer).
