Firecracker Chili

Firecracker Chili

2 lb ground beef
2 each onions; med chopped
1 each bell pepper; chopped
1 each celery; stalk chopped
1 each garlic clove; minced
2 can tomatoes; 16oz cut up
1 can tomatoe sauce; 15oz
2 cup water
1/8 cup chopped jalapenos; (2-3)
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoon red pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 each bay leaf
1 can bush chili hot beans; 15.5oz

In large saucepan or dutch oven, cook ground beef, onions, green pepper, celery and garlic til browned, do NOT drain. Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomatoe sauce, water peppers, chili powder, red pepper, salt/pepper and bay leaf. Bring to boiling and simmer uncovered for 1-1/2hrs stirring occasionally. Stir in beans; cook 30min more. Remove bay leaf before serving.

Yield: 6 servings
