Golden Cream Potato Soup

Golden Cream Potato Soup

3 cup potatoes: cubed
1 cup water
1 each onion; small chopped
1 each chicken bouillon cube
1/2 lb velveeta cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 single pepper
1 1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoon flour

In large saucepan combine potatoes, onions, bouillon cube, water salt and pepper. Mix well. Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until potatoes are done. In jar, shake milk and flour until well blended. Add milk mixture to potatoes. Cook until thickened. Add cubed cheese and stir until melted. Serve hot or cold.

(opt: boil whole potatoes 30min, cool, peel, and cube. Continue with rest of recipe as above, adding potatoes after initial cooking time.)

Yield: 6 servings
