Macaroni Salad #2

16 oz elbow macaroni
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
2 cups mayonnaise; (1 pint)
1/2 medium bell pepper; chopped
1 jar (4 oz) pimento; drained
Cook macaroni per package directions, drain and cool. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well and chill.
