The Last 39 Years and Plans for the Future in 200 Words or less
"Following two years at Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls, and with the state desperate for teachers, I started teaching kindergarten at 18, got married at 21, teaching a total of six years (Vinton and Orange Township, Iowa) and then operated my nursery school (Waterloo) for two years. We moved to Madison, Wisconsin, in 1965 and frequently thereafter living in Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Tulsa, back to Philadelphia and back to Tulsa. My son, Greg, is 28, lives in Houston, is a great golfer and a marketing manager for a natural gas brokerage. My daughter, Katy, is 25, lives on the east coast of Florida, is receptionist at a law firm and mother to Tyler, my 18 months old grandson. I have been divorced for 12 years, lived in Florida (Tampa Bay area) for five years (love it!) and am office manager, assistant to the president and staff coordinator for a commercial real estate firm with three offices, 30 agents and stall of 11. I have a 10 lb. Llaso Apso named Betsy and a six pound cat named Alexis. They hate each other. My parents are well, just moved from the farm to a duplex in Wellman and have 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. My plans for the future are to continue to enjoy Florida's warm weather, and to enjoy my friends and family at every opportunity."
