We need your help! Please buy this album!!!
For some inconceivable reason, this album is the one that has done the poorest saleswise. It's such a pity because the album is very clever.
The story behind the album is that following the 1985 media blitz, Al's label pressured Al into making another one so he wouldn't 'fade form the public's eye.' Al feels that at that time, under the pressure, that he and his band put forward their best effort. Sadly, the general public didn't seems to appreciative.
Another part of the album was also a pressured effort: the song Christmas At Ground Zero. Al's label Scotti Brothers wanted Al to do a Christmas album full of parodies, this song was the answer to their wishes. After that, they never pressured him that way again.
I consider all but one song on this album to be 'up to standard' and all but (a differnt) one to be very nicely written. With that said, this was definately Al's best album, professionally and maturely, at the time. Goodness knows, my first listening harbored the loudest and biggest laughs from me than any other Al-bum before or since.
This album deserves to be over the Gold mark; the general public does not know what they are missing.
