This was considered by some to be Al's 'comeback' album because he was just coming out of the slump over the box office slump of UHF and a 3-year break.

Al certainly 'came back' (as if he really went away at all) with full force. This dynamite album kicks off the defining Smells Like Nirvana. Not only did this song receive mad props from MTV and the press, and the blessings of the late Kurt Cobain, but members of Nirvana felt that this was the event that 'made them.' What a compliment! And what a song!

Smells Like Nirvana is one of Al's great crowd pleasers at concerts and leads off an album which put Al 'back' on the charts.

Included on this album are the bi-lingual Taco Grande, the curious You Don't Love Me Anymore, the obsessive Airline Amy, and Al's first hidden track. But don't bother looking for lyrics to that track- there are none!

Granted, there are a few times where the album seems like it's getting stuck in a rut, but it's not as severe as Alapolooza (Al's next album).

Highly recommended album to have!
