Hi y'all! My name is Aimée "Rainbow Heron" Anderson and I am a native of Washington D.C. who is currently living in the South and has been for the greater part of her life. I can best be described as: non-conformist, interested in the world around me, untraditional in practice tho I'm not against tradition, intro-extraverted (IXTX for you Meyers-Briggs folks), a Moderate/Indepentent politically, Presbyterian religiously, an artist and scientist by nature, and very much American by birth. I love variety, life's little oddities, and learning!

I was born in Washington D.C. and later moved to South Carolina, where I'm currently at & hoping I'll be able to move away from...I miss the blizzards & the gridlock. Yes you heard right! Dad used to work for the Smithsonian Institute an still does on occaision so downtown DC was my backyard stomping grounds. Now I'm living in a 'small' Southern town (which isn't all that bad cuz I got family). Good news is it's got forests & swimming pools, bad news is I've never *really* gotten over being homesick. But as of right now, I'm finishing up the bulk of my [traditional] schooling, babysitting my little cousins, and trying to squeeze in time to get a serious website or two going...not to mention an art portfolio!

I am currently somewhere between what most people would call [traditional] schooling & finding a career. Personally, I believe that one doesn't have to go to school in order to *learn*; I also don't believe that one should have to limit oneself into only *one career* for their entire life. So needless to say that "school" & I get along *reeeeeeeaaaaaalllllllyyyyy* well! (:-P Actually I have nothing against schooling (public or otherwise), but like I said before, I'm untraditional and a non-conformist! :-) All that said, I think my 'career' life is going to be rather interesting...

Hobbies and interests:

computers: website design, computer programming, usenet (newsgroups),
music: guitar & bass, singing, sound recording & engineering,
arts: filmmaking, special effects, writing (poet/lyracist),
